Greatest man in history named Jesus, had no servants, yet they called him Master. Had no degree, yet they called him Teacher. Had no medicines, yet they called him Healer. He had no army, yet kings feared him. He won no military battles, yet he conquered the world. He committed no crime, yet they crucified him. He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today.Reply Amen if you believe with all your being..

    True christians are fine folks.
Those who just use their religion to justify their unchristlike actions though are worse than non believers.

A billion Hindus, 1.5 billion muslims, and a billion atheist Chinese, might disagree with your "he conquered the world" statement. :doubt:

In those cases they're not true Christians then, aren't they?:eusa_angel:

I believe most of the extremely religious operate from deep seated feelings of guilt for their sins anyway. By being religious I mean you attend church religiously.

It's truly a difficult endeavor to live by your principles and not allow your prejudices to overrule your sense of fairness. Christians have a tendency to cut themselves off from what they consider to be the sinful when Jesus provided them with examples not to do that. The reconciliation between Mathew and Peter is a prime example of this. He taught us to love our enemies. However he didn't teach us to love those who continue to do harm to us. We're supposed to forgive them when they ask for forgiveness but we aren't ordered to commit suicide just to appear compassionate.

That is their humanity coming out and is something Jesus tried to teach us not to do.

    It's very tough.

Perhaps the Devil is working inside someone who gives in to their humanity, causing someone to look down their nose at those they feel are not worthy.

    Or it's just instinct.

Animals hang with others of their kind. Those they're comfortable with.
