I have followed Dragnet for years in reruns.

But I have recently become hooked on Adam-12 reruns. Produced by Jack Webb.

(sort of a poor- mans Dragnet - but still enjoyable)

Webbs programs had reality, strong messages and good vs bad.

Today good vs bad is all jumbled up.

I used to spar on another message board with some lefty idiot who was an ex-cop with the username Joe Friday. Always thought Jack Webb would be spinning in his grave if he knew that moron was using his character name.

I used to love the ORIGINAL show when I was a young boy.

Then about the time the second rendition of that show came on the air, I'd grown up and realized what fascist blather they were spewing.
