I might be assuming more integrity than I should.....

Am I wrong in not finding any evidence of tariffs against textiles in general? In fact, all of the tariffs Trump has put in place, have been limited.

Point being, in order to imply that Trump was specifically protecting imports of Ivanka's goods.... you would have to show evidence he intended to place tariffs on those goods to begin with and was convinced otherwise, or that he put places on all other similar goods, except for those goods Ivanka needs. Neither is true.
