We have a turkey farm a couple of miles from my house. I don't drive by there often and wouldn't even think about it this week because of the people who flock there to buy their fresh turkeys. I always feel bad when I see the live turkeys gobbling around, knowing they're soon to be slaughtered. But when I'm pouring that gravy over my plate, I give thanks to that turkey who gave his/her life so that I may continue my carnivorous ways.
