I liken the present situation to a cartoon.
In this cartoon the Dems play Wile E. Coyote who begins to send a ball of snow down a mountain to roll & form a huge boulder of packed snow (pilling on all the snowflakes it can with it down hill), the attempt is to destroy the Road Runners House (played by the current Administration (always busy racing around & always dodging Wile E. antics).
So the snow ball picks up a load of snowflakes and builds to a giant movement boulder that runs out of path and diverts attention to another path taking out first Susan Rice then Loretta Lynch's homes, then it takes out Comey's home and is about to divert into a path that singlehanded takes out Clinton and Obamas glass houses built by greed and destroyed by pride and abuse of power.
Once again Wile E. gets himself instead of the runner who's on hyper drive.

It becomes more and more apparent as each day passes that this administration stinks from the top to the bottom. And Mueller and his staff of expert investigators are gathering a mountain of evidence that will drive these crooks from power, and put (an as yet to be discovered) number of the participants in prison. That IS what happens to individuals who commit treason against the United States.

Conservatives will snivel louder and louder as Mueller’s investigation proceeds, and their right wing denial will soon be in high gear. But their denial has never changed facts, and their denial isn’t going to hide the truth about the Big Orange Idiot’s corruption, or that of his family and henchmen (including Kellyanne).

Whether Paul Ryan will become president, or there is justice for the majority is anybody’s guess at the moment. Sadly, if the history of the 21st century prevails, justice for average Americans will not. The conservatives in the Supreme Court will appoint another corrupt Republican to the presidency to serve the interests of the top 0.1%, just as they did for the 2000 election.
