But the truth has a way of catching up with liars, and even with all her efforts, she can neither deflect, nor think of lies quickly enough to satisfy the ever-growing number of difficult questions concerning the increasing amount of proof that Russia’s interference in the 2016 election put the Big Orange Idiot in the White House.
Big Orange believes his bluster can end Robert Mueller’s investigation into his collusion with Vladimir Putin. And conservatives believe their denial will make this damning issue go away.
Also, Mike Pence, who has been strangely quiet during his first months as VP, has hired outside counsel. This is not necessary for someone not under investigation, unless they know there is dirt to be dug up proving their involvement.
It becomes more and more apparent as each day passes that this administration stinks from the top to the bottom. And Mueller and his staff of expert investigators are gathering a mountain of evidence that will drive these crooks from power, and put (an as yet to be discovered) number of the participants in prison. That IS what happens to individuals who commit treason against the United States.
Conservatives will snivel louder and louder as Mueller’s investigation proceeds, and their right wing denial will soon be in high gear. But their denial has never changed facts, and their denial isn’t going to hide the truth about the Big Orange Idiot’s corruption, or that of his family and henchmen (including Kellyanne).
Whether Paul Ryan will become president, or there is justice for the majority is anybody’s guess at the moment. Sadly, if the history of the 21st century prevails, justice for average Americans will not. The conservatives in the Supreme Court will appoint another corrupt Republican to the presidency to serve the interests of the top 0.1%, just as they did for the 2000 election.
