Bitch please. The UK runs those fields and spend a portion of the money made with handouts to Scotland to keep it going and keep them in line. Scot's vote one of two ways, far left or further left. Without England they can't survive and would be bankrupt within weeks.

Anywhere a potentially huge deposit of oil is concerned, even offshore, and a people want to declare autonomy so they can own that oil, you'd better have 1000 UN and independent election observers watching the process, and checking every ballot cast.
