It's a rematch... Walker vs. Barrett

yep, Walker has done what he campaigned on.

The left has strayed from the union theme and is now just bitching about ideology.

This is due to the union's candidate getting hammered by the Milwaukee mayor who has a poor relationship with them, all this as previously mentioned.

no he hasn't. he never campaigned on divesting workers of their collective bargaining rights.

truth is important.

should politicians only be allowed to act on things they actively campaigned on? ALL politicians?

Irrelevant nonsense.

What got Walker recalled is doing something (stripping collective bargaining power) that he didn't campaign on therefor old navy's claim that he's "done what he campaigned on" is false.

Barrett won his Democratic recall primary with 54% of the vote, so he gets another crack at Walker in a month.

Milwaukee mayor to face Walker in Wisconsin recall after winning Democratic primary | Fox News
Barrett has had a rocky relationship with unions over the years and some Wisconsin union leaders urged him not to get into the recall race. He has promised to work toward restoring collective bargaining rights Walker took away, but he didn't go as far as Falk, who pledged to veto any state budget that didn't undo Walker's changes.
I wonder how much union support he'll really get, with a luke warm position like that on collective bargaining.

Also, Walker won his primary with 97% of the vote.

Walker is going to lose, even though he shouldn't.

Taking in the fact that he had to deal with the Flee party pussies, constant out of state harassment, anti support from the Pres, an unfriendly press, teachers that bitch and cry and still suck at their job and let the students know how mean anyone would be to support such and evul man....

He's gotten little done that has had any real effect.

Any attempt by him to run on the fact he's the ballsiest man in politics will be crushed by hundreds of millions of union dues in attack add after attack add.

the progs will get what they want and WI will be broken in 5 years.

Love to see Wisconsin a red state.
Thanks to the Gogebic Taconite mine blockade for the teachers and a huge 'fuckyall' to the other unions, you're going to see a lot of counties in this state go GOP normally going DNC.

That's good because he didn't divest workers of their collective bargaining rights.
Truth really is important. Except if you're a liberal.

still wasn't part of his platform.

for the record, he'd have no authority over private workers collective bargaining, would he?

Walker has something like a 12-1 funding advantage.

I don't see him losing with that kind of financial upper hand.

He campaigned on fiscal responsibility.

How is is doing it has upset people apparently.

So? Financial collapse wasn't in the predictions either. It happened, and Walker took the necessary steps to fight it. Now the whiny ass union fat cats lost and have to get behind Barrett who couldn't close the deal the first time.

A better campaign slogan for Walker, since this is a repeat, should be:

"We said NO! What part of NO don't you understand?"

Only if he was a dem taking bribes from the unions making it so they could squeeze whatever they wanted out of an employer.

neat

Well that's what I get to listening to the news

and speaking of which, none of that is widely known.

He's still going to lose, regardless, wisconsinites want that progressive utopia, no matter how bad it gets.

I'll take Walker to lose, no need for points.

Okay, you're on.

You don't need the Daveman pussy rule explained, right?

Just to be clear;

Walker wins my avi is picked by you for a week

Walker loses I pick yours

the only restrictions are those set by USMB. no cocks, twats or boobies, and no clear curse words but obscene gestures are allowed.

correct it incorrect

Oh, and for the irony, you just picked the evul conservative to win

:D

Ive been seeing evidence that the Wisconsins aren't so focused on union issue as much as they are jobs. And Walkers got a pretty good record in that regard. Should be interesting to see.

As long as you don't compare Wisconsin to any other states in the country, maybe. If you do that, however, you find he actually has the worst job record in the country.

Wisconsin is the only state that's managed to lose jobs over the past year. So yeah, hopefully this election is about jobs.
