When Israel left Egypt and crossed the Red Sea, they entered into the Saudi Arabia. From Saudi Arabia, they travelled into the Jordan Valley and from the Jordan Valley, they crossed the Jordan River to where God had told them to go. If you look at this map, the Red Sea is located downwards on the map. Clicking on the map and dragging the map upward will relocate the map to that area. You can see that from out of Egypt, the Red Sea divides the Saudi Arabia and Egypt. So Israel entered into Saudi Arabia and the area next to Saudi Arabia, where they were in the desert for 40 years. And from the Jordan Valley, they crossed over the Jordan River into the Promised Land. The Promised Land, by God to His Peculiar People, is what is now the West Bank and Israel.

Coming out of the Red Sea crossing from Egypt, they would have been in Saudi Arabia and then worked northwestward into the regions of Moab, Edom and Ammon. And because Moab, Edom and Ammon would not them pass through, the Israelites had to go around them into Iraq then to Syria and from there they entered into Israel. Otherwise, if the crossed the Jordan River from West to East, they would have been entering into Ammonite, Moabite or Edomite Territory to set camp? And so the Promised Land would have been the land of the Edomites, Moabites and Ammonites? Or, the Israelites travelled in between the lands of the Edomites, Moabites and Ammonites.

So even with these maps, Israel is where Israel is supposed to be. On the other side of the Jordan River after coming out of Egypt. Would you agree?

Knowing how we confuse similar words,
make note that the now dried up large lake close to the Red Sea was called
Sea of Reeds (Yam Suph).
Suph= 'reed ' in Exodus 2:3.

But this gets confusing. Because if the Israelites travelled in the desert for 40 years and the Wilderness of Sin is in the Sinai Peninsula, then how did they get to the Jordan River so quickly from the south of the Sinai Peninsula to the North side? So maybe the were travelling in the whole Sinai Peninsula, which is desert/wilderness. Then they get near the territories of Edom and Ammon and God tells them to ask the Edomites and the Ammonites to allow them to pass through to the which they did not. So this means that they had to retrack their steps back into the Sinai Peninsula and travelled Northward from the Sinai Peninsula right into Israel. So they would have never had to cross the Jordan River, then.

NO.. but that wouldn't work since if they crossed the sea of reeds how did they find these chariot remains in the Red Sea? Remember that the waters covered up the Egyptians while they were still chasing the Israelites through the Red Sea.

So because the Israelites did cross the Red Sea, they ended up in Saudi Arabia... Even the people who did the diving in the video footage said that these things were in the Red Sea. So we would have to find out where in the Red Sea they found these to figure out where the Israelites set foot after their crossing.

It's a common mistake to think that the Israelites were still living in the land of Goshen in Moses' time. The land of Goshen was given to the relatives of Joseph, being his father and brothers and wives. Many generations had passed from the time of the death of Joseph to the time of the birth of Moses. So during this time when Israel was populating in Egypt as slaves, they were moved by Pharaoh's quarters which would have probably been by al-Karnak, where the statues of the Pharaohs or pharaoh's helpers are. Since the Egyptians thought that the Pharaoh was a god in man's skin, they erected many god-figures for different purposes and the statues found at al-Karnak, could have been statues to protect Pharaoh. And since Moses and Aaron went to visit with Pharaoh many times during the Exodus call, Moses and Aaron, as well as the other Israelites, had to have been close to Pharaoh's place of residence (home). So the land of Goshen which is up towards the North was not a highly favored part of land in Egypt since it was further away from the denser parts of the Nile River. The land of Goshen was used for sheep herding and shepherds and shepherds were not highly looked upon in Egypt. Jacob, Joseph's dad, and his family were shepherds. The most prized parts of Egypt were the parts where there was much waters from the inundation of the Nile River, making that area the most fertile. And if the Pharaoh and his entourage all were squeezed into the little Northern Part of Egypt, it would have been a very overly crowded place for any King to remain in. And it was in these heavily watered places where Moses and Pharaoh met once and where the frogs came out from. And if they crossed from the place of al-Karnak, they would have crossed the Red Sea and came on land in Saudi Arabia.

So as the Israelites were once in the land of Goshen, Pharaoh relocated them further south but not allowing them to cross his borders, which would have placed the residences of the Israelites in the time of Moses a little north of the Temple Grounds.

Strangely however, is the fact that the Egyptians of that time did not know from where they came. Although the people of Israel and the people of the Egyptians were officially related, they did not know. And the Egyptians treated the Israelites with cruelty. If you go further back in history from the time of Moses, it is told that a son of Noah, Ham, was Egypt. The Egyptians came as the descendants of Ham. The Israelites who were in Egypt at that time also had the same Great-Parent, Noah. But these Israelites were the descendants of Shem, Abraham also being a descendant of Shem, to whom Noah blessed. Both the children of Shem and the children of Ham were actually related as cousins yet they did not know it then.
