Yet when the people of a state vote to restrict abortion or messing with young developing bodies, you go off the rails condemning them. Obviously, you don't accept the will of the people.Only a shit refuses to accept the will of the people.

But maybe that's the plan. They don't certify him, people to nuts, democrats begin rounding up the offenders and start locking up republicans even if they weren't involved because of "potential threat", and scare the living shit out of other republicans so they stay quiet. It could allow them to justify a police state and maintain power.
Intentionally creating scenarios to make people act out so you can slap them down is an old tactic.
