Outside of some signs that would appear in the heavens as a sign of the beginning of The END Times, there is not much to go on for Spiritual People who look for The Return of Christ to gage just how close we are to that.
Conversely, there are those who look forward to The End Times for different reasons, primarily that, they do not believe in God, and they are looking for a Great Leader to follow. This Great Leader will be opposed to God, even thinking himself God-like. He will pronounce GREAT LIES and the Entire World Will Love Him, and be Amazed By him. He will eventually reign over Earth for many...many years, and as he becomes powerful.....he will become tyrannical, Anti-Semitic & Anti -Christian, but most of all ANTI TRUTH and ANTI GOD.
This man....goes by many names... LIAR is one. The Beast is another.
Are there any Political Signs that might Indicate his coming is near?
Reading The Last Bit of Prophecy Left....in actuality just 7 years....(it's been on hold since the last Jewish Temple was destroyed) we find that.....one of the only things we can fathom about this period before he comes, is the PERVASIVENESS of LIES, LIARS, and the PROPAGATION OF LIES. Of course I would not come out and say....that Judgment Day is near....but.......I can't help but think about The Media and our politicians who dream up lies, and propagate lies they KNOW in FACT are Lies...just to gain a political advantage. It's gotten so out of control.....for people who read and research current events and do fact checking....that you cannot even watch the nightly National News...or any 24-7 News Network.
Without getting in to an Eschatological Discussion too much....do you as a poster...and political blogger think that Lying and Dishonesty is becoming an Epidemic?
Or if you disagree....do you have reasons for why many people I have talked to feel like most people are dishonest when a few decades ago...America believed their neighbors and most any other Americans were honest and good people.

The term antichrist is only found in the epistles of John (1 John 2:18,22; 4:3; 2 John 1:7). The antichrist is the one who opposes Christ and thus God. The antichrist is an eschatological (end times) person who will appear and deceive countless people near the time of Christ's return. The antichrist is associated with Satan and will be aided by demonic forces in his unholy movement against God and in his attempt to rule the nations of the world. Most scholars agree that the antichrist will claim to be God and will rule many nations in Europe and bring the world to the brink of destruction.

The term "antichrist" is also used to describe a spiritual condition. In other words, it is descriptive of those people who oppose the true God.
"Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have arisen; from this we know that it is the last hour...22 Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son," (1 John 2:18,22).
In 1 John 4:3 John says that all who do not confess Jesus are of the spirit of the antichrist, "and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; and this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world."

Not meant to be a major discussion on The Anti Christ or End Times....but more about Truth and it becoming an Endangered Species. Thoughts?
Are we becoming a dishonest society, with a dishonest media, a dishonest government, and dishonest citizens?
