Is Ron Paul Irrelevant Yet?

Ron Paul spoke at UCLA last night and over 7,000 people showed up at the campaign event. He is relevant to his crowd and he could have been relevant in the GOP race if he had won some states which he narrowly missed such as New Hampshire.

well except from the faithful.

I did not indicate that the libertarian party will suddenly snag congressional seats and become relevant in the lame stream media. What it could do is hold enough members to garner more swing votes and perhaps even defected GOP members who are bound to throw up another lemon like Romney in 2016. So the independents, and in turn the libertarian party could hold more water in future elections...that is, if we have future elections....

You know, I don't even care about that any more. The system is so far gone that it's just a matter of time before it collapses under its own weight. Hopefully it will happen sooner rather than later. Worst case scenario is that we become a government zombie like Europe, where it will matter even less for whom one votes.

This is the meme of the narco-libertarians:

-Anyone opposed to them is a fascist.

So having performed about like he did last time he ran, which is to say sucks, Ron Paul is still in the race. There is no way he can become the nominee. The news media aren't even talking much about him. And his predictions and those of his k00k followers haven't panned out In fact the only think panned is Paul.
So what is his strategy going forward? Have we seen the last of Ron Paul?

I'm not sure Ron Paul was ever relevant at least from a political standpoint and we have seen the last of him till 2016 when he will run again if he is still in office.

The only Paul who might run in 2016 is Rand, and even that's questionable to me considering he'll also presumably be running for re-election to his Senate seat.
