Is Rand Paul a Racist?

Of course not.

He is quite ignorant, however, particularly with regard to the Constitution and its case law, which it typical of most libertarians.

His ignorance with regard to Commerce Clause jurisprudence and public accommodations laws is a prime example.

He opposes Obama so the liberal line of thought is that he must be a racist.

Not a liberal so I couldn't speculate on that.

But are you suggesting that his frequent close association with racists (along with his statements about the 1964 Civil Rights Act) don't raise any flags? Just his opposition to Obama?

No one has named any racists he's associated with.

He's the racist, so anyone associated with "him" is probably racist, too.

Of course, the libturds will do anything in their power to paint him as a racist. He's the biggest threat to their hold on power. What else would you expect them to do, run on their record?

Referring to the 1992 Los Angeles riots, another read, 'Order was only restored in L.A. when it came time for the blacks to pick up their welfare checks.'
The articles called Martin Luther King Jr. a 'world-class philanderer,' criticized the U.S. holiday bearing King's name as 'Hate Whitey Day', and said that AIDS sufferers 'enjoy the attention and pity that comes with being sick.'

Perhaps we should spend less time calling people racists, and more time trying to fix actual problems.

That IS an actual problem.

It's not the racism, per se..it's the racism IN GOVERNMENT.

If there is racism in government, I believe it is a two-way street.

Both sides have their bad apples and inequal policies.

Oh sure, that's why Republicans are always getting in hot water over racist remarks (way more often than any Lib).

Ask a question, then answer it. I have a question with no answer: PROVE Rand is a "racist". Beyond a shadow of a doubt, And then tell us what standard of proof you are using. I stand against racism, I stand with anyone accused of it. Just on principle. Proof, my dear, proof. Racism is such a insubstantial and subjective thing. But the allegation stings and it hurts.
