According to ice core data from the Arctic, yes. There have been many instances where warming and cooling trends occurred in the last 10,000 years that were not driven by CO2 or orbital forcing.

So the next time somebody says temperatures are increasing because of CO2, tell them correlation is not proof of causation and that the geologic record is littered with warming and cooling trends that were not driven by CO2 or orbital forcing.

The Experts only have data from the late 1800s and they think they can determine what has happened over the last 10,000 years. LOLOL Just like they take a few pieces of bones and put together a whole bbc series on dinosaurs and how they lived.

I think it's good that they started collecting data...even if late. Still...look how often fancy named weathermen are wrong. oh yes...they're called....meteorologists.

I don't think ANY warming or cooling trends are driven by either. There simply is no evidence to support the notion.

"Forcings" as a whole, are a fraud. They are a creation to fill a void created by lack of evidence.

It's kind of hard to argue against orbital forcing triggering glacial cycles when the conditions of the planet are suitable for glaciation. Namely, polar regions isolated from warm marine currents and a temperature close to the threshold for extensive continental glaciation.

I was specifically referring to CO2 induced "forcings"

The information here certainly doesn't suggest that orbital forcing will counter anthropogenic global warming or that ANY orbital forcing could have caused the last century's warming.

More importantly there is zero evidence to support the claim that AGW even exists.

Here are a few articles that you will not read but that you will dismiss out-of-hand without providing an iota of evidence to refute any of their contentions.

Correlation doesn't prove causation. The geologic record is littered with examples of warming trends that were not cause by CO2 or orbital forcing.
