Yes, people who identify themselves as Jewish are much safer in the US than in Israel, and that is where they should have gone after WWII. Placing themselves by choice in their own 'ghetto' country was a lamentable mistake.

If the US is spending diplomatic and financial capital to support a religion, it is against the constitution.
