Iraqi woman beaten in her California home dies

probably her husband beat her, realized he wouldn't get away with it in the USA like he would in Iraq and put the note next to her body.

Family, friends, and neighbors are the first suspects in most cases. STILL NO EVIDENCE any political party had ANY connection. Just Kidrocks post about the "big tent".......................:doubt:

A Iraqi woman is murdered in the greatest Country in the world and a poster claims "there is no more room in the big (American) tent. The post tells a hell of a lot about the American union based education system in the US. Short sighted opinions based on hatred for their own Country.

Maybe if kid got rocks blames another 100 or so as being right wing extremist, he might get on right, then he'd wet his panties and scream for days how correctly predicted it.

I wanted to revisit the thread because I made light of a really horrid situation. PWI. Yes. And just having some fun.

But to address a true situation, there are so many honor killings now it's outrageous. Most bizarre one in Britain now where the family killed the young white girl for falling in love with their Pakistani <insert guess what religion here> son.

The pity of all of this, is that someone exists out in cyber space called kid rocks who feels its their duty to be a swine and take a truly horrible situation and turn it into a political issue.

Your face is ugly and mean kid rock. You vote liberal. And you are so vile.

Iraqi Woman Beaten to Death in California, Hate Crime Suspected - Yahoo! News

ABC News
A woman from Iraq who was found beaten, lying in a pool of blood in her in El Cajon, Calif., home next to a note saying "go back to your country," has died and police are investigating her death as a possible a hate crime.

Still waiting for the "political" connection?

And are you equally still waiting for the "political" connection concerning Trayvon Martin which has been splashed all over this forum (politics) for weeks now?

Will it still be a hate crime if it turns out blacks or hispanics did the deed?

I guess CONZ never get tired of having innocent Iraqi civilians killed for nothing.

There IS none. The "hate crime" tag could mean any one of dozens of groups; an Iranian, a disgruntled neighbor, etc. Citing the Republican "big tent" slogan is ridiculous.

Hate crime bullshit rears its stupid head again...

Murder is murder, assault is assault, battery is battery... whether it is done because of money, hatred because of behavior, hatred because of differing opinions, or whatever other reason... the specific motive can be used to show guilt in the case...

Tragic when anyone is murdered for whatever reason... but to have political point seekers using these tragedies for talking points, is repugnant

The note seems to indicate that it is a hate crime. However, what if the note was left to throw suspicion away from the real killer(s) and reason for the killing.

Ha! You should defend the killer... he would love you to death. You should be a lawyer.

Why is this in politics? How is the fact someone called a crime a hate crime political? What exactly is the political angle?

Why is the Trayvon Martin thread still on this forum (politics)? For weeks now. Same difference.

Yes, murder is murder, etc. But civil rights are still civil rights, and when those violations are found in other crimes, jurisdiction expands to those responsible for prosecuting civil rights violations. And motive does count. We often add criminal conspiracy to other crimes. Why should civil rights violations not be added?
