Iraq Turns to Russia in War Against ISIS

Obama has had 'limited success' against ISIS because he is and has NOT been truly fighting ISIS. Obama ran guns to them from Benghazi. He allowed them to flow into Iraq to take over much of the country our military had just recently liberated at great cost WHILE Obama's Intel had been churning our false Intel / Lies about his 'success' against ISIS since 2012!

Obama is still trying to recover from and 'make right' his disastrous 'Red Line' blunder in Syria. Obama actually believed he could throw down a 'Red Line' threat to Assad (with no intention of backing it up) and that Assad would have no other option but to back down because NO ONE would dare to challenge / cross 'Obama'! When Assad did just that, Obama had no clue what to do...so he cowardly back pedaled and tried to blame everyone else, declaring it was not HIS 'Red Line' but the WHOLE WORLD'S 'Red Line'. Assad gassed his own people, our allies witnessed the cowardice and decline of the US, and our enemies were emboldened.

Instead of fighting ISIS Obama has trained more Syrian Rebels to try to fight Assad. Several of those have converted to ISIS, bringing all of the training, weapons, and supplies Obama gave them with them. Putin seized the opportunity to step in to declare HE would take the fight to ISIS, moved planes, weapons, and troops into Syria, secured Assad's regime, and immediately began bombing the crap out of the remaining rebels Obama was and is still supporting. He then made China and Iran his allies, against ISIS and the US, and Russia and Iran are using the 'fighting ISIS' story to not only fight ISIS but to spread throughout the Middle East....

..and Obama is still focusing on saving the rebels and continuing to try to unseat Assad...who is WELL protected now. The whole world can see this. Iraq is trying to save their nation...so they have decided to 'make a deal with the devil' instead of taking their chances with an idiot who has other priorities.

I don't know whose tanks they were. They were Russian made tanks operated by either Syrians, Iranians, or Russians and after all the hype they were destroyed of captured and a Russian helicopter was shot down. Unlike Bush, who had full bi-partisan Congressional authority to take the country to war, Obama chose to by-pass Congress and exercise his 'War Powers' Act authority to take the country to war on his own to join the Al Qaeida rebels/terrorists he had been arming and help them take over Libya.

Obama did so because he KNEW there was no way in hell he was going to be able to convince Congress that the United States should go to war to help Al Qaeida, perpetrators of 9/11/01 (and 9/11/12), take over their own nation. These 'rebels' were the same terrorists who had been hiring Jihadists for years to go to Afghanistan and Iraq to kill US troops.

The only problem with Obama's plan, that was never pushed, was that he ran out of time he was allotted to use the military without Congressional approval, as stated within the War Powers Act. He never went to Congress to ask for more time to finish HIS WAR. Yes, that's right, Obama violated the War Powers Act. (Liberals falsely argued that the time specified in the act was 'irrelevant' and the only thing that REALLY mattered was that the President could use the military without Congressional approval.) Again, Obama KNEW there was no way in hell he could convince Congress to allow him to continue to help Al Qaeida. TECHNICALLY and LEGALLY, Obama's WAR became an ILLEGAL WAR the day his allotted time ran out and he refused to go to Congress to ask for more time.

You just refuse to admit ISIS has had set backs against both the Peshmerga Kurds and Iraqi's. No one is saying they are beat and in mass retreat. They will continue to have occasional victories. Until the influx of Russian supplied Iranians and airstrikes arrived, most of those victories were in the west in areas of Syrian government control and against Syrian military. ISIS has become a global problem. Various groups are joining up with them and they are recruiting new members. When it is time to take them on seriously let the Republican controlled do nothing CONGRESS declare war on them and come up with the funding needed to fight them. But they are the miserable ignoramuses who refuse to take the fight to the enemy. They are the ones with the power and duty to declare a war on our enemies. 1. NO ONE can accurately say there has been much progress against ISIS since it has been proven Obama has been lying and putting out bad Intel Reports (sorta like his 13-times modified CIA report about Benghazi) about his FAKE success since 2012!

2. The Kurds had early success against ISIS, but they began to run low on weapons, supplies, etc...none of which Obama would provide them. They are fierce fighters but have been receiving heavy losses due to a lack of support from Obama...almost as if he WANTED them to lose. EXAMPLE: The Obama administration just got HAMMERED in the news for sending them military vehicles THAT HAD NO ARMOR, what the media affectionately called 'rocket launcher sponges' and 'death traps'!
