'Iraq is Finished'...Our unwise wars have caused a Domino Effect

From the link I provided, Nutty Professor....see where it says NY TIMES :)

Now the New York Times reports that not only were WMD found but we had a program that purchased intact stockpiles:

The Central Intelligence Agency, working with American troops during the occupation of Iraq, repeatedly purchased nerve-agent rockets from a secretive Iraqi seller, part of a previously undisclosed effort to ensure that old chemical weapons remaining in Iraq did not fall into the hands of terrorists or militant groups, according to current and former American officials.

The extraordinary arms purchase plan, known as Operation Avarice, began in 2005 and continued into 2006, and the American military deemed it a nonproliferation success. It led to the United States’ acquiring and destroying at least 400 Borak rockets, one of the internationally condemned chemical weapons that Saddam Hussein’s Baathist government manufactured in the 1980s but that were not accounted for by United Nations inspections mandated after the 1991 Persian Gulf war.
cool link

These munitions were remnants of an Iraqi special weapons program that was abandoned long before the 2003 invasion, and they turned up sporadically during the American occupation in buried caches, as part of improvised bombs or on black markets.

I wasn't aware the US was buying them until recently

I love how people like to pretend Obama has had nothing to do with the last six years of us foreign policy.

and we are about to hear Hillary pretend she is qualified to be president with her time as secretary of state while the world goes to hell

The O/P was intended to relay what actual IRAQIS (not left or right wingers) assess the situation in that war-torn, divided country......

If right wingers choose to place the blame equally on Obama for the mess, they are hypocritical scum buckets trying to escape their own sorry conscience for backing a war-mongering Bush adminsitration......

Does Obama share on some of the blame? Perhaps for following exactly what he campiagned on and overwhelmingly elected.

Yes for his part in letting Maliki persecute and/or remove the Sunnis from power in the Iraq Central Government. Most of the blame goes to the Iraqis, followed by President Bush and finally President Obama, a distant third.

"Selective" blame casting is one of the many flaws in right wingers' "rationale"......Is there some blame to be cast on Obama? Without doubt......However, it borders on insanity to state that the entire mess in that region's blood flow is NOT Cheney and his sidekick's fault.
