Insteresting Ichiro Fact...Has he dropped production since making the swim here?

    The hit was Ichiro's 1,222nd since joining the Mariners in 2001, and he totaled 1,278 in nine seasons with Japan's Orix Blue Wave.

    In is 5 years here, he has nearly as many hits as he had in Japan, in NINE years.

    :)

    He'll hit .400 for a season eventually.

    I like Ichiro.

    I like all of the Japanese players. They are class guys. Hideki Matsui apologized to management and the fans for injuring his wrist while sliding to catch a flyball. Find an American athlete that will do that.

    I especially like Tadahito Iguchi. Guch got the game winning hit for the Sox in today's game:bow3:
