And, they are only sending a probe that is only supposed to last for two weeks.
But it is a good step forward for science.
We should have Lunar probes just like we have Martian probes.
India should be spending their money on their huge poverty problem and their sanitation problems.

That must REALLY gall the Russians! I mean India is DIRT POOR and they just landed a vessel on the Moon, the South Pole region which is one of the hardest places to land at as part of the heavily cratered Lunar Highlands, just days after Russia tried and CRASHED!

All Governments operate as wealthy when certain matters arise . To stereotype all of India as being " Dirt Poor " is embarrassingly out of date .Regardless , and to allow me to reign in my Critical Thinking , is there hard proof that the Russian craft actually crashed?If it was on the Dark Side, how do we know whether the truth was told or are there reasons to think that a private joint operation will now take place? I can think of several reasons why that could benefit both India and The Federation and leave China and the US trailing. Musing .
