To be honest, the only Burt Reynolds film that I have seen so far is the one that he did in 2011 with LeAnn Rimes named Reel Love.

Personally I liked the "Gator" series better than the "Bandit" stuff but as they say, Burt always acted with a wink to the audience and I liked that. He never took himself that seriously. The only movie that Burt didn't play Burt was "Deliverance". I think he was his coolest in the movie "Malone".

One of three twenty-something airhead ladies who host a local morning TV show commented that Burt was one of her mom’s celebrity heart throbs while the anchor wannabe was growing up so thus heard the name a lot but didn’t know what he looked like. Until she found out about SNL’s Celebrity Jeopardy skits that often featured, hilariously, Norm Macdonald as Burt, but had no idea it was all a spoof. She thought Norm really was Burt. And now she’s employed in the TV world!
