This thread title is the official motto of the United States of America.
Rep.'s Tlaib and Omar were sworn into Congress using the Quran.
Does this mean that they were not duly sworn in as Congressional members?

Our official motto DOES NOT state that 'In Allah We Trust'.

Can someone please clear up this confusion?
Is this clear enough for you?
Your homework is to study the US Constitution.

Article VI Clause 3

3: The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.

The motto is not a test. But it IS an affirmation to support the U.S. Constitution!

the motto does not even mention the Constitution.

The Founding Fathers worshipped 1 God, you leftist shill POC. IGDGAF what some drug-addled people's offspring that joined the corps worship. That's not what built America, boy. I find it hard to believe you were involved with the Marines.

What kind of song is the Marine Corps theme song, hmm?

It's called a hymn.

Your leftist ass defies logic.

Lyrics:

Lyrics
From the Halls of Montezuma
To the shores of Tripoli
We fight our country's battles
On the lands, and on the sea
First to fight for right and freedom
And to keep our honor clean
We are proud to claim the title
Of United States Marine
Our flag's unfurled to every breeze
From dawn to setting sun
We have fought in every clime and place
Where we could take a gun
In the snow of far-off northern lands
And in sunny tropic scenes
You will find us always on the job
The United States Marines
Here's health to you and to our Corps
Which we are proud to serve
In many a strife we've fought for life
And never lost our nerve
If the Army and the Navy
Ever look on Heaven's scenes,
They will find the streets are guarded
By United States Marines
From the Halls of Montezuma
To the shores of Tripoli
We fight our country's battles
On the lands, and on the sea
First to fight for right and freedom
And to keep our honor clean
We are proud to claim the title

I'll believe you when you post me a hymn for every funky religion you listed.

Good luck! :113:

Who has toejam in the mouth? GOLFING GATOR, that's who.

By the way, The Marine Corps is not a religion, it's a United States Armed Force that takes an oath to The Constitution.

It seems like you'd know that if you were one, ever.

You missed one. Damn, do atheists make the stupidest arguments about religion!

You also made a false equivocation: If tomorrow I declare worship and faith in "god of the wood nymph," does that mean my God has equal merit, validity and standing as does the God of the Bible, the Buddha, Krishna or Allah?

equal merit, validity and standing with whom?

"Almighty GOD; we make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy holy protection, that thou wilt incline the hearts of the citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to government; and entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another and for their fellow citizens of the United States of America at large. And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy and to demean ourselves with that charity, humility and pacific temper of mind which were the characteristics of The Divine Author of our blessed religion, and without whose example in these things we can never hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication, we beseech thee, through Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen"

SUNLIT UPLANDS: GEORGE WASHINGTON'S PRAYER FOR THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
What God was he talking about?

Use your deductive reasoning to figure it out. Let's just see if you're capable of doing so. All the info you need is in the prayer. True story.
I've deduced that religion is not named in the constitution and should stay out of government. It's very important. I'm not free if I am forced to comply with anyone's religious doctrine.

You can't kill, steal or commit adultery without suffering consequences in America, sorry.

How oppressed does that make you feel?

Your savoir in the White House has committed adultery 1000 times, what consequences has he suffered?

Because they use a hymn, just like the Christian religions. Not a hard conclusion to make unless you're blinded by derp in your futile attempt to deny God.

This thread title is the official motto of the United States of America.
Rep.'s Tlaib and Omar were sworn into Congress using the Quran.
Does this mean that they were not duly sworn in as Congressional members?

Yes, I did say that. But proving it is not necessary for the current discussion. I have proven that more than just Christianity has hymns, thus invalidating your claim about the Marine Corps Hymn

The Founding Fathers were smart enough not to include such a oath for this country.

No. It is not an affirmation to support the U.S. Constitution. The constitution doesn't require belief in any god.

That may be, however, the traditions and mores and even laws of the USA are predicated on the belief in the one true God.

If any laws are predicated only on the belief in one god, they are unconstitutional.

Name a law that is predicated only on belief in one god.

And which part of the constitution says that?

Well, like the prophecies Say, people shall fall away From God and be lovers of themselves rather than lovers of God.
Did your god assign you to make those decisions, or do you think he can deal with all that himself?
My God has said there is only one (1) unforgivable sin and that is to curse him. Sorry 'bout that.

And My god said your god is a pussy.

Ah! I see what you did there! You're having a little fun with Trump. Right?!
