I disagree--needless to say. That's why we have elections.

As I see it, Obama is fit to govern whereas Romney is not. Obama seems to understand that successful governance means compromise and negotiation (he is consequently villified by the right wing for being a "socialist," and by the left for being a "corporatist"). Romney does not understand that at all; in fact, he has painted himself as a rigid right wing extremist ideologue this year. Even if this is only to get the cracker vote, though, it is still disingenuous and cheap.

I see no redeeming qualities in Mitt Romney at all. He seems dull-witted, unaware of the real world of work and challenges, and he has nefarious motivations; that is--

(1) Typical of rich boys, he feels compelled to outdo his domineering and successful father, and
(2) He is a member of a little cult called the Mormon Church. He is working on their behalf.

I would re-elect George W. Bush sooner than I would vote for Romney. At least Bush was an honest man; Romney is a shiester.

With all due respect, Free? Barack Obama "talks" a good game but when you actually look at the way that he HAS governed there is little compromise and scant negotiation. Something Bob Woodward relates in his latest book on the Obama Administration is pretty telling. When the Republicans won back the House in the 2010 mid-term elections nobody from the Obama White House had John Boehner's phone number so they could make the customary congratulatory phone call on his being the new Speaker of the House. They had to call around trying to obtain Boehner's number! How do you "negotiate" with someone that you don't even know how to get a hold of two years into your term?

That's Barack Obama in a nutshell though, Free. He talked about bi-partisanship when he was running for office but then his Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel summed up their view a few days into the new administration when he responded to someone asking whether the GOP would go along with their proposed agenda..."Fuck 'em...we've got the votes!"

I have no idea why he's spending any waking moment outside of Ohio. Granted, his presence there probably wouldn't change much, as people there simply don't like him. But when he loses Ohio he's done.

Yeah, Major. There was no piece of major legislation there. And every one of them has been a fail. He's signed stimulus after stimulus and tax break after tax break and we have 8+% unemployment and record deficits.
