Happy Harvest! Sounds so fun doesn't it?

A box full of yummy and good food. It's like a fantasy.

Then reality sets in. What's likely to be in the box:

Rice
Beans
Flour
Powdered milk
Powdered eggs
Canned meat (like Spam)
Creamed corn
Oats
Sugar
Salt

maybe:

Canned fruit
Canned vegetables
Dried fruit

Try making nutritious and delicious meals out of that stuff.

What about people who don't know how to cook?
What about people with two or three jobs taking care of kids and have no time to cook?
What about frail and old seniors?
What about the disabled?
What about the homeless?
What about those with no refrigerator or cooking facilities?

And you know, whoever gets the contracts are going to squeeze every cent they can out of it.

But it sounds so, well, so "Happy!"

HAPPY HARVEST!

Very nutritious. They can learn to cook. Throw in a couple of recipes.

Flour, powdered milk, a pinch of salt and water. That's Indian fry bread. Very very good.

Did the poor ever get chefs to cook for them? For the very old and disabled, they still have meals on wheels.

Wow, sounds really nutritious. And you don't use baking powder? What do you cook it in? Grease?

Wait a second. Do you think that animals that are going to send people boxes of food would allow "meals on wheels"?

Here's the truth about Meals on Wheels in Trump's budget

Funding confusion complicates Meals on Wheels budget fight

I don't understand these white wingers. They could look stuff up but it's like they are determined to know as little as possible.

How many of these white winger's parents or grand parents depend on Meals on Wheels or Medicare or Medicaid or Social Security. So they are jumping for joy, Yea fuk my family? Really?

What kind of people are they?

I was assuming he would insist 'Trump steaks' be included so he could mooch money off of the American taxpayer.

I know, right?
That's why the Secret Service moved out of Trump Towers into a trailer outside the building. Trump jacked the rent up so high trying to grift every cent he could they decided the country just couldn't afford it anymore.

And look at what Trump and his ilk are doing to the poor and the middle class. And these white wingers on the USMB can only say "Good job". They left off "brownie".

Someone is living in a trailer in the middle of Manhattan? Link and pictures please.

You know white conservatives kill off their parents AND their children. Oh wait. That's liberals.

There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with providing staples to people. At least, when they sell their EBT cards for crack, they will still have something to eat.

The best fry bread is fried in lard, which is usually included in government staples. Fry bread is incredibly good. I make it. Not only that, but I have actually been known to go to the local grocery store in Los Angeles and but Spam, right off the shelf. Right there, where anyone can buy it. I put it in macaroni and cheese or scrambled eggs. Did you know that powdered eggs make great scrambled eggs? You can't tell the difference.

Screaming that actual FOOD will be provided to people who have already proven that they cannot make food decisions that will feed them just is not going to slice any bread with those who know better.

Taking EBT away from people like this

'Beach bum' on food stamps goes viral

give him actual food instead.

Republicans? Most on food stamps have a job, many have two. You just can't support a family on "trickle down".
