I'm so sorry things went bad for you, fnnceo. My dad was a coach. He said quite often that the best players on the team are often the first to foul out. When you think about it, life is like that sometimes. Three years ago, my marriage ended due to death. I lost the best guy who ever lived, and I should know after 44 years of being together with him. After a couple of years, I started dating a man I liked, and a few months later, he was diagnosed with malignant lung cancer and succumbed in June. Death is a rotten thing. It breaks the heart even if it was more like a puppy love after so short a time. Divorce is ten times worse, though, if it causes you to feel unhappy with everything in life, including the people you once loved. Maybe joining the "I hate cats" club isn't all so bad. It can do you worlds of good to get rid of bad feelings by thinking about how cats act offensive when offended over nothing at all. You're healing yourself. That is a good thing.
