Modern day conservatism is the political codification of selfishness.
Maybe that's the problem, that....all-of-a-sudden (relatively-speaking)....people have (somehow) been given the option of redefining the English-language....that Modern day conservatism needs it's own, special place in the English-dictionary??
If (most?) Americans are desperately in-need of Absolutes, wouldn't the English-language be the most-obvious??

This is how I see conservatism:
: the tendency to prefer an existing or traditional situation to change
How can we possibly improve, as a Nation, when improvement is a concept that inspires dread?????
Conservatives rave about the Values of the Founding Fathers....yet, those Conservatives (willingly) ignore the fact the Founding Fathers were some pretty-extreme risk-takers, in their time.
