A man who turned himself in for the murder of a 14-year-old Colorado girl is on an immigration hold, police said.
Commerce City Police said Esequiel Padilla-Villalobos, 24, called 911 shortly before midnight on Sunday and told dispatchers he wanted to turn himself in for murder.
Officer Chris Dickey said Padilla-Villalobos provided officers with the location of a teen girl's body, which was found in the 8600 block of Verbena Street. Padilla-Villalobos is being held on suspicion of first degree murder. The cause of death has yet to be determined.
