Shattered said:Nobody is ever going to just "magically" recover. Nobody is even implying that. However, there are specialists out there that stated she *can* be rehabilitated with work. Why won't Michael ALLOW it? Why did he allow her to lay there with no treatment for years before he finally remembered what he "thought she would want"?
Also, he's not "mercifully letting her die".. He's starving her to death.. She's still alive, and functioning without the aid of anything - No life support, no kidney machines, no medication, NO NOTHING - she just hasn't eaten of drank SINCE FRIDAY! She's being starved and dehydrated to death.
C'mon.. This isn't rocket science.. Everyone is condemning the wrong person, and it's frustrating as hell.
Give her back to her fucking parents. Let them pay for her treatment. They'll be more willing to let her go if they can see it's not working, but they need to let someone try first.

BTW, people would "get off Michael's ass" if he'd do the right thing.. Have you read *any* of the stories/articles on this case, or have you only read what's been posted here?
My *first* opinion was based on what I'd read in a newspaper I'd happened to pick up at a restaurant.. My first opinion was "Ok, she's been like this for about 15 years.. It's time to let her go. Time to move on.." But, something made me dig deeper, and read farther.. I'm glad I did.
