If Trump were smart, he'd use the sex assault accusations to resign

Mueller's probe and the Congressional testimony has already shown Sessions and Kushner to be liars about having no contact with and/or about Russia interfering in the US campaign. It's curtains for Trump and the GOP now. If Trump were smart in the least he would be using all these sexual assault revelations as an excuse to resign before he ends up in prison for treason.

Then the GOP can sweep this Russia stuff under the rug (even though they were also complicit in it) for the time being, and can distance themselves from Trump ahead of the 2018 mid-terms.

Trump can still pretend he's a victim, but he's acting magnanimously for the good of the country.

That's if he was smart...I'm not so sure he is.
