He actually left in 1956 long before Castro.

Marco Rubio is 41 years old, he wasn't even born in 1956 so how is it possible he left Cuba in 1956?

Rubio already stated numerous times he will in no way, shape, or form accept the VP bid, even going as far as declining to go to Romney's secret billionaires retreat.

He knows Willard is toxic and is going to lose. Even if somehow he did get the VP nom, the birther brigade would be out in full force sinking his ship even further.

Rubio has been slowly backing away from his "not under any circumstances" statements of the past.

This past Sunday on Meet The Press, he would not re-commit to that when pressed by the host. He was clearly open to the idea of being VP.

He also came across as incredibly quick on his feet, with well thought out responses to everything thrown at him. He was way, way, way more direct and forthright than Romney is.

I was very impressed.

He, his wife and children were also on Hannity last week for the entire hour. He walked back his previous statements then too. His kids behaved suprisingly well for having to sit there for an entire hour at their age. His wife didnt seem too articulate but that could have been stage fright.
