Smother my daughter with chocolate syrup.
That doesn't sound right. Not at all.

You're right. It's "IN chocolate syrup", not "with". Good eye.

5:14 here...

Must be a canadian thing...because it still doesn't sound right.

Oh well...speaking of canadians...if I owned this site...they wouldn't be allowed to speak.

Yeah, that's it --- Frank Zappa is "Canadian".

If I owned this site you'd be forced to post in maple syrup.

Eh?

I don't know who Frank Zappa is. Sounds canadian.

He was a pain in the ass. When he hosted SNL, the crew hated him. No one would stand next to him at the end of the show except for John Belushie (Sic).

I wouldn't own this site.

Hell, you couldn't pay me enough money to moderate this site.

Make posters register with an actual IP addy and not a proxy.

Yurn turn....

No offense to the site, but midget transsexual porn is more popular. :) Peak usage shows just 150 or so members online. That's kinda weak sauce. And you're not going to get significantly more changing the familar interface to something more flashy so they should really quit trying that approach.

Wanna boost users, ask the users what they want and do it democratically. "Do you want the current interface, or the old interface?" Then do what the majority of members want. When sites do what its members want, they get more members. When sites do whatever the hell their bosses want solely to make more money, they fade to nothingness and go away.

Plus, at it's core, this is a discussion site. Can only make a read and write type site so popular. In the video-age you're not going to get more popular with a read n write type site than a video version sorta site. Though things they might consider trying are adding more topic groups. While the current selection is quite rich, there are things people like to talk about you could add. ;)

I would offer a suggestion, but it is against the rules.Well...that would be my change, allow members to question mod actions...a little transparency to prove or disprove my assertions.

Questioning staff action is not against the rules... Questioning staff action on the open board is.

If anyone has an issue with staff action, please start a private conversation with another member of the staff.

Carry on. :smoke:
