Mormons are good people until they are not.I have never met a Mormon who was not a fine upstanding person.
I’m sure most people know that.Circumcision amongst non Jews is common in America. For hygiene reasons.
Well, say what you will, but I had a crush on Donny Osmond! So cute.Mormons are good people until they are not.
I lived in a predominately Mormon community for seven years. Normally great people but they have a dark side.
However, they are successful so god bless 'em.
It was very common among RCs back in the day.Circumcision amongst non Jews is common in America. For hygiene reasons.
Rosanne Barr is part Mormon and part Jewish.I have never met a Mormon who was not a fine upstanding person.
We were the only Christians that lived on our block and probably in the whole subdivision. My younger son was 11 at the time. Everybody else LDS. At first the kids in the neighborhood welcomed him. However, they kept asking him to go to their church and get involved in the Mormon youth activities.Well, say what you will, but I had a crush on Donny Osmond! So cute.

He didn't take them up on it. After awhile they started to shun him. Soon nobody in the neighborhood would have anything to do with him. That was hurtful for a 11 year old kid.
It was the same thing with the adults. Very friendly to my wife and I but after we refused (politely) to attend their LDS activities they shunned us. They would be polite to us in passing and I'm sure that if we needed help they would jumped on it but for the most part we were ostracized.
At work we had a lot of problems with LDS managers and supervisors showing favoritism towards their fellow Mormons.
I have a lot a respect for them and they are basically good people and they work hard and have great family values. However if you aren't one of them they will never accept you
Met a nice Mormon girl Missionary who ended up coming to our Morning Prayer group. Eventually brought some "Elders" who were young blokes too and they were very decent. Participated as well to a lesser level. Very informal. Went to their "temple" and as usual listened quite intently. An EX-RC got up and though quite sincere he basically slagged on the RCs and was full of shit. The lass stayed friendly but went "home" to the US and wrote me saying that she put my name in some "book of life". Seems I'm covered both RC and Mormon,. lolWe were the only Christians that lived on our block and probably in the whole subdivision. My younger son was 11 at the time. Everybody else LDS. Bit of a debate there; I think they're more of a nutty cult but that's just me maybe. But why do you say you were the only Christians on the block, surrounded by Mormons. Don’t Mormons believe Jesus was the son of Gd? Then that would make them Christians as well.
Can Russobots convert? When I was a kid I hung around with a couple dudes in the neighborhood. One was a Jewish kid who was adopted by Jewish parents. The dad was cool. He was into guns and would shoot any motherfucker who threatened his family. He liked me because I was a good shot with a BB gun. This, probably more than anything, socialized me to Jews and their community. Later on in life, I had a Jew friend. Later on, his wife died and he moved back north. I would take him fishing with me. He was a good guy too, a former Chicago cop. It was during my friendship with him that I learned that Jew food sucks ass. He discovered his love for fried chicken.
I am going to confess that I am not a religious person, at all. But I think, if I suddenly had an epiphany and became religious, how would I worship. I have much respect for the Roman Catholic church (except for the pedo stuff) and Judaism because they are disciplined religions. They have standards and rigorous disciplines. Any old jack-off can be a preacher in a protestant sect. The Episcopal Church is just a gay, leftist version of the RCC. Islam will not even be considered because I am not a fucking ignorant psycho.
However, I do not think that I, a male not born a Jew, am eligible to convert to Judaism. That leaves me out of the religion. Roman Catholicism, when I have been to their services, always creeps me out with all the Latin signing and effeminate men wearing gowns. If I was going to partake in any organized religion, it would have to be Judaism. But since I cannot be a Jew, I have to be a non-religious person.
Jews have been disproportionately persecuted since the dawn of time. It is easy to see why. They are more intelligent than most and place a high value on education. They are family oriented, and the value of education is reinforced in the familial structure. Further, the are prosperous as a people. This pisses a lot of people off and is the root of much anti-Semitism. Hell, look at Gaza, the West Bank, and the Golan Heights. If those swarthy Arabs who disingenuously call themselves "Palestinians" had money and pussy, then they would have no reason to be so pissed off all the time. They would pick up and move from that God forsaken land and come to America or some other civilized country that would have them.
That's all this really boils down to with the freaking "Palestinians": money and pussy. It is the key to men. But, there is more. They need to follow the example of the Jews and create a value system that promotes education. For even with a bunch of pussy and money, without and education all you can ever be is a dumb camel jockey. You end of with a class of Arab asshole like we see in Saudi Arabia where they still subjugate women to men. That is not how a civilized culture works. That is fucking Fred Flintstone shit. Hell, its even worse. Even Wilma Flintstone had a limit she would take of Fred's shit.
Jews, more than any other group of humans, are successful because they promote values that make people successful. This is why they are to be admired.
He'd have to get a nose transplant. What ignorance.
Not really. But why do you say you were the only Christians on the block, surrounded by Mormons. Don’t Mormons believe Jesus was the son of Gd? Then that would make them Christians as well.
I mentioned I lived in a community with a very large LDS population.Met a nice Mormon girl Missionary who ended up coming to our Morning Prayer group. Lost touch about five years later. She married, had kids all that sort of thing. Quite decent people but frankly nuts!!
Fun fact: they nearly didn't do the "knock on the door" thing because of the motor bike disassembled on the front verandah. Some sheilas are turned off by the most trivial things....and the bearded blokes working on it.

My older brother (when we were at Uni) would start chanting Satanic stuff and greet them with all sorts of naughty suggestions. They never came back. I must admit it wasn't very civil of him but it worked.I mentioned I lived in a community with a very large LDS population.
The church that my family attended had a rescue mission for Christians that were pulled into the LDS cult. Usually young people that dated somebody in the LDS church.
I was too busy working but my wife got the training and did some of the rescue work. She is very knowledgeable of the difference. More so than me.
It is always a hoot and half when the young Mormon missionary boys stop by our house here in Florida. I discouraged her from doing it any more but a couple of times my wife invited them in and then challenged them on their beliefs. It was funny to see them get all tongue tied. I felt sorry for them and told my wife not to do it again.
Old joke I heard when I was much younger. One of my exes converted and then attended Cordoba law school and married a Jewish man.
They are synagoguesI live in the deep South (GA). There are a couple of Temples here near me.
