a. To have an additional Dem, seat from January 2018 with Alabama's Jones.....OR

b. To have an ineffective Rep. seat in the senate held by Moore?

Can you visualize the political ads by democrats (from both chambers of congress) running in 2018?

For democrats, having Trump AND Moore as poster boys for the republican failures, must be a dream come true.....

There's no upside for the gop. Either they lose a seat they really need for a maj, or every gop running has to face questions of whether they support Roy Moore, and if not will they vote to expel him.

However, this story takes oxygen away from the media really covering some noxious crap in the tax bill. We can play partisan politics, but imo the tax bill is harmful to the country ... and it's motivated by Ayn Ryan ideology.
