Zone1 I like what this lady said.

Critical Race Theory is not taught K-12 and that link is to some crackpot right wing bs site that conflates CRT with anything that appears to be close to teaching anti racism.
What's this in Minnesota then, dumbass?
"The purpose of this policy is to establish a framework grounded in Critical Race Theory for the elimination of bias, particularly racism, bigotry, and cultural bias, as factors affecting student achievement and learning experiences, and to promote learning and work environments that welcome, respect, and value diversity."

Nice try to lie, but no. :nono:

Derp derp de derp durp derp!

"Intermediate" means middle school, btw.

Unless the tenets of it are propagated in all school curriculums; Fuck off, lying shitbag.
That shit's even being propagated in the military. Try again.
You don't even know wtf it is.

Racial Equity is not CRT.

Racial Equity is not CRT.
maury-thats-a-lie.gif

Look, it's like this, I don't care about a bunch of whites crying about CRT. If CRT was taught in every class in every school, white kids in the future won't grow up ignorant like you guys. History is documented and white right wingers don't get to continue lying abouy it so they can practice white supremacy.

What about black American "right wingers" though? They're not into "white supremacy".

You've been doing nothing but lying this whole time, wtf?!

The only one lying about anything here is demonstrably you.

Yeah, history IS documented, and you don't get to lie and deny it, boy!

Are you saying black kids that went to school in America in the 60s grew up ignorant? Really?!

Their educations were way better than the kids of today; STFU.

One of their 9th-graders was equal to college level these days. That's how far the education system has fallen.

Now, I have exposed your lies and racism and TTFN.

Black right wingers do help white supremacy. For example, you have Candace Owens, Larry Elder and others who help white supremacy continue. There is nothing wrong with CRT being taught anywhere, but you right wingers believe are the only ones entitled to tell the story of America and thats due to a belief in white supremacy.

I started Kindergarten in 1966. We were taught Critical White Supremacy Theory whereby any accomplishments of blacks were not taught, and we had to endure the slavery section of history every year from K-12. You are an example of the ignorance teaching CWST produced in whites. Kids today deserve better than going through the school system and ending up like you. So STFU. You don't know what the hell you're talking about.

That's a lie. There was none of that allowed in any K-12 curriculum in 1966 unless you went to some kind of black racist private school.
I'm sorry you're so racist, but I'm not responsible for you. I'm only responsible for me and my own actions.

CRT is a theory class taught ONLY, ONLY in Law schools.

Stop spreading ignorance.
They’re not TEACHING the theory. They are accepting it as fact and using it to dictate how they behave toward in their classroom - giving special attention to black children because they are “oppressed”. In effect, leftist teachers are putting white children at the back of the bus.

Normal black parents are objecting to this.

Do elaborate on this "teaching anti racism" you reference. :rolleyes-41:
Teaching “anti-racism” is making sure children understand that whites are inherently bad and blacks are their poor oppressed victims. There was one book out, being taught in multiple schools in NY, that said that whites made a deal with the devil.

To repeat the title, I like what this lady said. She was speaking out against CRT at a school board meeting. Her speech certainly does not support the narrative of oppressed people of color due to the evil racist white people. Will she get kicked out of the I'm black club because of her opinion? Is she an Aunt Tom? What say you?

Critical Race Theory, or CRT, is an academic and legal framework that denotes that systemic racism is part of American society — from education and housing to employment and healthcare. Critical Race Theory recognizes that racism is more than the result of individual bias and prejudice. It is embedded in laws, policies and institutions that uphold and reproduce racial inequalities. According to CRT, societal issues like Black Americans’ higher mortality rate, outsized exposure to police violence, the school-to-prison pipeline, denial of affordable housing, and the rates of the death of Black women in childbirth are not unrelated anomalies.

Critical Race Theory was first developed by legal scholars in the 1970s and ‘80s following the Civil Rights Movement. It was, in part, a response to the notion that society and institutions were “colorblind.” CRT holds that racism was not and has never been eradicated from our laws, policies, or institutions, and is still woven into the fabric of their existence.

Critical Race Theory should be embraced as a framework to develop laws and policies that can dismantle structural inequities and systemic racism. Building a more equitable future requires an examination of how the shameful history of slavery, caste, and systemic racism were foundational to laws and institutions that exist today.

The term “critical race theory” has been co-opted by opponents as a catch-all and rallying cry to silence any discussions about systemic racism, ban the truthful teaching of American history, and reverse progress toward racial justice. The term has been unjustifiably used to include all diversity and inclusion efforts, race-conscious policies, and education about racism, whether or not they draw from CRT. Attempts to ban CRT are really attacks on free speech, on discussions about the truthful history of race and racism in the U.S., and the lived experiences of Black people and other people of color.

Lawmakers and proponents of the bans insist they are advocating for a balanced and “patriotic” education. However, these bans do the exact opposite: deny the truth about our nation’s history, silence dissent, and punish those who speak the truth to counter whitewashed falsehoods.

After the historic 2020 election, which included record turnout among Black voters, states passed the strictest voting laws in decades. When millions of people took to the streets to protest police violence, states responded by passing laws criminalizing protest. Now, as individuals across the country, of all races and backgrounds, are coming to recognize the history of systemic racism and its ongoing impact, states are responding by attempting to silence discussions of these issues. The bans are part of a coordinated backlash to the realization of a true multi-racial democracy in America.

Bans on “critical race theory” are bans on truth and history. Critical Race Theory is not taught in K-12 schools. These laws seek to ban the teaching of a true American history and all of its racist elements. These laws ban virtually any discussions about how racism has shaped our nation’s policies and history- from education and housing to employment and healthcare. Ultimately, these laws are blanket bans on racial discourse and attempt to deny our nation’s shameful legacy of racial oppression. These bans are attacks on free speech that silence those who speak the truth about our nation’s history.

More than 25 states have introduced legislation that could restrict or ban what students can learn and what teachers can teach about our nation’s history. More than 66 anti-truth bills have been introduced or pre-filed. More than 12 states have already passed versions of anti-truth laws or mandated similar statewide policies. (Source: Edweek)

  • Bans on any discussion or teaching that the United States is inherently or fundamentally racist.
  • Bans on what legislatures have deemed “divisive concepts,” including white supremacy, male privilege, white privilege, equity, unconscious or implicit bias systemic racism. However, the bans lack context, definitions, or examples of the ways they are being taught.
  • Requirements to teach “without giving deference to any one perspective” and provide a counter narrative or opposing view of anything being taught.
  • Ban discussions of systemic racism and sexism that would “discriminate,” “hurt feelings” or make someone feel “guilty” about their skin color.
  • Drastic limits and funding cuts for anti-bias trainings and diversity and inclusion initiatives for students and teachers.
  • Provisions allowing the state to withhold funding for schools that violate the bans.

Former President Trump’s “Executive Order on Combating Race and Sex Stereotyping” issued in September 2020 became the blueprint for states to craft their own bans on truth. Many of the same vague “divisive concepts” banned in the Executive Order reappear in current state legislation. Many state laws also include provisions that establish financial penalties for noncompliance and threaten to cut state funding of schools that disobey the bans.

In the Executive Order, former President Trump directed federal agencies to end trainings related to the discussion of inequality, critical race theory or other forms of what he labeled “propaganda.” It went so far as to establish a McCarthy-esque hotline for people to report on the behavior of others. A few months later, a federal judge later blocked the directive and the Biden Administration has since rescinded the Order.

The vast majority of school board members are elected officials who have power over school policy decisions, budgets, programming, resource allocation, curriculum, and faculty tenure. They have the power to vote down or institute school district policies, programs, and budgets. Currently, unprecedented numbers of mostly white parents are attending meetings to demand that school boards use their power to ban the teaching of so-called “critical race theory” in schools.

Recent efforts to ban racial justice discourse are part of a long American history of backlash in response to demands for educational equity. Laws banning racial justice discourse are attacks on all students’ right to a fair, full, and truthful education about their country and their communities. Members of school boards must use their influence to resist bans on truth and defend the rights of teachers and students to discuss race in a classroom setting. Former President Trump’s Executive Order, and the attacks on racial discourse that followed, emerged after the publication of The 1619 Project by the New York Times. The landmark journalism series published in 2019 aimed to tell a more complete story of slavery’s role in shaping America and the lasting effects of enslavement. Many states specifically banned The 1619 Project as an example of “teaching or discussing that the U.S. is inherently racist.”

The 1619 Project was conceived by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Nikole Hannah-Jones. In April 2021, Ms. Hannah-Jones accepted the appointment as Knight Chair in Race and Investigative Journalism at University of North Carolina. In an unprecedented decision, the university’s Board of Trustees voted to deny her tenure. The decision was a clear retaliation against Ms. Hannah-Jones for her leadership on The 1619 Project and the result of a campaign by conservative activists to discredit her work. More broadly, it was an attempt to silence those who speak the truth about our nation’s history of race and racism.

LDF represents Ms. Hannah-Jones in connection with the Board’s failure to consider and approve the faculty recommendation of tenure. Read Ms. Hannah-Jones’ statement regarding her decision to decline the eventual tenure offer at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and to instead accept a Knight Chair appointment at Howard University here.

Well according to Jasan Stanley she, like Jews who also agree with the far right are hoping to be accepted by and not included in what happens when things take off. This is very much the motivation of the recent mass murderers operating on The Replacement Theory which imagines that there is a 'global elite' intent on bringing inferior people into white nations to replace them. This is what their Manifestos talk about in the hope of Inspiring others as they previously were inspired. The one he is speaking of here is Buffolo. Those who are behind this all according to White Replacement Theorists are, as they were in Hitler's time, Jews
Gendron’s manifesto begins in a similar fashion to Tarrant’s, by decrying the “white genocide” that will result from the supposedly low fertility rates of white populations and the high fertility rates of non-white immigrants brought in to “replace” them. It is more openly anti-Black than Tarrant’s manifesto – it is a deeply American version, with roots in Jim Crow and lynching. It is also vastly more explicitly antisemitic.

Ten pages of Gendron’s manifesto are devoted to arguing for a genetic basis for the racial IQ gap, as well as (ironically) a genetic basis for higher rates of violent crime. It’s clear that Gendron closely follows various academic debates about race, IQ and crime.

According to the ideology guiding Gendron, Black people are not intelligent enough to engineer the replacement of whites, and the destruction of their civilization. The real actors behind white replacement, according to Gendron, are the Jews, a topic which occupies the subsequent 29 pages of his manifesto.

He blames Jews for all the things which people quite rightly hate and a few not rightly but are hated by the far right. The Replacement Theory and it being run by Jews is a long time white supremacist meme followed by the Nazis. He gives more details of that in the article.

so now we get to the bit that this woman seems to have been drawn into possibly in the hope of saving her from future violent racism Lies about Critical Race Theory

The section ends by blaming Jews for creating “infighting” between people and races. The example Gendron’s manifesto provides is that “Jews are spreading ideas such as Critical Race Theory and white shame/guilt to brainwash Whites into hating themselves and their people”.
...............................

But what Carlson has been doing is spending an entire year repeating a conspiracy by Christopher Rufo that says that American education has been infected by a pro-Black ideology (CRT) that was created by German Jewish Marxist intellectuals (the Frankfurt School). And that while the CRT version of this conspiracy theory is new, it is a direct descendant of the “cultural marxism” conspiracy theory, which was a primary topic of Breivik’s manifesto.

Some American Jews hope that by identifying as white, and lending their support to racist narratives about IQ and crime, they can diminish rightwing American antisemitism. This is a terrible error. American Ku Klux Klan ideology in the 1920s strongly overlapped with Nazi ideology, placing Jews at the center of a conspiracy fomenting a supposed race war to overthrow white civilization. American Jews who support Tucker Carlson and his ilk, that is, others who repeat the white replacement narrative, are supporters both of anti-Black racism, and antisemitism in its most violent form.

Eventually people will need to decide whether this is where they intend on going, whether this is what they feel connected to. People who believe that Critical Race Theory is being taught in schools are people who have bought into what is a deliberate conspiracy theory founded in racial and antisemetic hate, not the truth.
