Riddhi Patel preliminary hearing postponed, new charges added​

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Prosecutors said Wednesday (4/24) new charges were added and a preliminary hearing moved to June in the case against Riddhi Patel, a protester who told the Bakersfield City Council, “We’ll see you at your house, we’ll murder you.”

Last week, prosecutors filed a motion to bring three additional felony counts against Patel, for a total of 21 threat-related counts.
