I think you misheard him. He may have hit the target at 5,000 yards, but he didn't shoot a 6 inch group at 5,000 yards. The last group that tried took 37 shots to connect with the 40" target.

Not sure if this was on the forum but a cool story. Guy came home, bad dude was coming out of his house/garage and pulled a gun on him, luckily house dude was carrying and shot the burglar, the perp ran away with a bullet wound and they caught him within a few blocks. Happy story of the day.
