Since time immemorial mothers have defended their children with unmatched ferocity. Good to see some things never change. A prerequisite of motherhood ought be learning how to do so with highly trained savagery.

As a mother you would do anything to protect your kidlets, this includes shooting a POS, I also think that the majority of fathers would do the same anything to protect the kidlets. This woman should face no charges, she did what most would do.

But what if he was stealing her SUV to go grocery shopping for the local church? What if he was only innocently trying to bring her kids to go meet his own for a play date? What if he only had skittles and Arizona fruit juice with him? Was it raining? Did the mom double back and stalk the car thief before shooting him?

Did he try to hurt the kids? Did he try to hurt her? If not, its not self defense. Unjustified shooting. Lock her up.
