I Feel Like A Kid Again

That's because this upcoming week my fiancée and I are going roller skating together!!! I remember that I used to have skating parties when I was a kid. I'm afraid that I'm going to be a bit rusty though and wind up on my butt several times. How long has it been since you guys gone if ever? Are you good at it or not? I sure would like to hear your stories.

Plans have unfortunately changed as this Round 1 doesn't have a skating rink... But surprisingly I think that he's going to take me to dinner and see the Barbie movie.

Used to do it quite a bit. My wife would be an escort for the elementary school kids to go to the rink. They were wowed she could skate backwards, and do flips, and all sorts of things.

Try skete boarding if you really want to risk your neck. The only skating arena in these parts closed up years ago.

My beloved wife wanted me to enroll our younger daughter in Indian Princesses. Done.
Date with Dad was roller skating. My friend was there with his daughter and I rented skates with toe stops
to use.
I hobbled around the rink two or three laps like a rank amateur while my friend, a pharmacist and smart guy, laughed
and pointed. He gave me some suggestions. So then I ran on my toe stops up to full speed, jumped up in the air,
and landed backwards in full control. Spent many an evening at the Skate Ranch, I did. Men's racing around cones
was the evening finale. Loved it.

Expert snow skier, water skier, scuba diver, marathon runner, triathlete, licensed pilot, world traveler.
I have led a dream life with the woman of my dreams.
