Having read his statement, I believe him. His explanation is reasonable and I think that the press is taking what he said out of context.

This is his explanation.

It’s like when Obama said “You didn’t build that” and the right-wing press took that out of context and spun it into something different from what he was saying.

This is a very big reason why people don’t trust the press.

Hold on to your hat....... The Ultra-progressives are gonna shit a brick row house!!!!! :D

Steve King once again proves that a large portion of republican voters are stupid..

He can endorse Nazi candidates in other countries....closet racists pretend its no big deal...
Iowa U.S. Rep. Steve King endorses white nationalist Canadian politician

Meets with holocaust deniers while on a trip funded by holocaust survivors - - closet racists pretend its not a big deal.....

Rep. King met with far-right Austrians on trip funded by Holocaust memorial group

So when he says "oh yea, I never supported white nationalism or white supremacy" --- closet racists pretend he is telling the truth...

Rep. Steve King denies supporting white nationalism, supremacy after New York Times report

Actually not.

King is in fact a racist and bigot, well established long before this more recent example.

In today's ugly, binary political environment, you're only one or the other.

And if you're "the other", you're a target. No matter what.

We're acting like children.
.
Please tell me why it is necessary for a guy in Iowa to endorse a Neo-Nazi mayoral candidate in Canada who had ZERO chance of winning her election?

I’m not defending what he’s said in the past. I’m defending what he said in this passage.

Ahh now Mac.... you wouldn't be surprised to see King at a Klan rally...

King's behaviour before this article would have disqualified him when the GOP was a proper Conservative party.

Proper Conservatives would not be into racism but the present GOP has left a lot of Conservative principles... I am not saying every GOP member is a racist but racist has a home in the GOP...

Someone could say the same about Marxism and the Democrats but the difference is how Democrats representatives have endorsed Marxist candidates...

There two main streams in the Democratic Party:
  • Moderate - These would be equivalent to the UK Conservative Party or any centre right party in Europe.
  • Democratic Socialist - This is the Nordic Countries or Centre Left party of Europe. Truth is in a proper democracy they normally get isolated as their populism hits reality.

Out of context for "you didnt build that" We knew exactly what the 1/2 white fagot meant, just like the "Fundamental Transformation of America" into a 3rd world shithole. Problem with you assholes, is that your head is up them.

Both ends of the spectrum are conditioned to automatically (a) assume the worst about the other end, and (b) attack based on that assumption.

It's intellectually dishonest, tribal, and terribly counter-productive behavior, and it's a shame that we can't find away to rise above it.

Why is it that most of the modern day Socialist countries are all RACIST and very "WHITE" except for the infusion now of Arabs from middle east countries, that are raping and killing said "White" women and children?
