Absolutely right. Have you ever read Andrew Vachss' "Burke" series of detective novels? He wrote them to get the word out on the horrors of these people. Extremely well written, and often the cases have a basis in real world incidents.

I also agree with Andrew Vachss when asked what should be done to pedophiles in an NPR interview. Simply put, the cure is a bullet to the brainpan. You can't rehabilitate these people and they are too dangerous to ever be let out. I'm more than happy to see that done.

Life without parole is cruel and unusual. Commute it to death. Cheaper, more ethical, no escapees. They're not coming out anyway.

As has been pointed out by more cynical/jaded/realistic experts on the filth that are pedophiles, just removing the hormones doesn't work because of all the drugs on the market now to revive erectile disfunction and low sex drive. Often pedophiles who have been castrated have boatloads of testosterone replacement and Viagra to allow them to get it up and continue.

Combine with that say physical castration, they find another medium in which to abuse the children.

The only cure is a pine box 6 feet down. Till we finally get with the program and understand that this is incurable and deal with it permanently, we will never be safe from these bastards.

I see, so it shouldn't matter what sex the child is, right? Yet most child molesters have been found to pick one sex or the other, they rarely cross over.

And I see that we haven't as yet come up with how many little girls were molested by priests in the RC church yet either. Where are those numbers?
