How many would be saved banning trans fats? How many if we banned 4th of July holidays?

Banned trans fats because they're dangerous (they say.) But how many die every 4th of July in predictable, easily avoided "accidental shootings" where a bullet fired upwards comes back down (or flew on a parabolic arc) with penetrative velocity into someone's head? How many alcohol-related deaths using fireworks? How many other accidents relating to people being stupid could be avoided if we just banned the holiday? Half of all DUI fatalities take place every year over the 4th of July weekend. Thnk how many could be saved if we banned the holiday.
