My guess is that the complaints will pale in comparison to how Trump was hit over Puerto Rico. Partly because the infrastructure to provide aid is vastly superior and partly because some of the posts I read on the board last night that already blamed the victims.

Further thought: to attack Trump after Florence, it would make more sense to do it in a way that's opposite of the OP's premise. Site the timely aid being provided and compare that to Puerto Rico in a way that plays up Trump as being anti-Hispanic.
