A protest or a rally even opposing the results of an election does not equal insurrection. It's still protected free speec.Even if there was a riot that got out of control, and even if there were bad people in that crowd with bad intentions, you need to actually have proof that the crowd was coordinated wit insurrection in mind. That never has been proven.

The crowd was "coordinated", to prevent the certification of the election. That was the stated goal of it. A goal they were set on by Trump. To achieve that goal violence was used. Those are the elements that make it an insurrection.

This analogy fits. If a person douses a house in gasoline. And gives a bunch of kids a lit match and asks them to go in the house. Even if he said "be careful" before them entering. The acts before clearly show the intent.

Trump lied too these people about the election. He lied about what a VP is allowed to do. And asked these people to stop the certification. He asked them to go to the Capitol while being aware they were armed. After they had breached the Capitol grounds and while his VP was being evacuated he justified their actions via Twitter.

Yet, you and the OP somehow think you can express doubts about the intention because somehow in his speech, he uttered the word peaceful.
