He has no Governmental experience. I run a business which interacts with government, running the two is very different. His experience is in business speculation especially property speculation. He has generally failed when he was asked to get into the nuts and bolts of running a business.
The way he campaigned
He ran the least truthful campaign in US presidential history. Fact Checkers had him at 3 untruthful statements to one truthful one. He covered one lie up by saying an more outrageous one the next day. The Media was more concerned with ratings and making a race for so long, he was never nailed down and presented with facts and explain himself. Any attempt to this was met with a tyrant of abuse and a shift to an alternative media.
He also used help (coordinated or not) help from the Russians who fed a daily diet of Fake News which he then promoted to his followers until he clouded the whole space with misinformation. He regularly took both side on the same issue and his voters didn't even know his positions.
Cabinet Picks
After saying Draining the Swamp he then goes and picks the most corporate inner circle in modern times(probably anytime). US is now being run by a ruling class, these people used to be paying lobbyists and trying to gain influence. Now they have taken away the middle man.
Just look at his pick for SOS. This guy has no Foreign Experience and a his company was found guilty of bribing African Dictators for resources which should have gone to some of the poorest people in the world. It is not in US interests in letting Russia off the hook, Russia invaded a country(Ukraine) the US had an agreement to mind when it asked their Nuclear Arms. By letting Russia off the Hook the totally destabilize the region and allow Putin set up a new USSR bloc. But Exxon can see the $500bn Oil exploration Deal, that is what the ruling class want not Joe public.
There is many other examples but I keeping it simple. These are real issues which can't be brushed aside by personal insults... There seems no willingness from the Trump side to address these concerns except insults and more Fake News.
