How about it for those evil corporations?

Wow. And for no reason other than true, fundamental corporate altruism.

Well I don't know about anyone else, but this does it for me. Proof positive that all corporations are good and commit their existence to improving the human condition. I'm going to change my voter registration tomorrow. I hope it's early enough that I can still go vote for Herman Cain in the primary.

Who gives a damn what their motives are? Results are the only thing that matters. Only libturds believe intentions are more important than results. How else can you explain every liberal social program?

That would be amazing if it were true, but religious bigotry is the leftists' game.

Its not the left thats bashing Islam, last time I check Herman Cain and Allen West bashed Muslims to gain support with the Tea Party and far right. I believe the Democrats have two Muslim lawmakers in Congress, what about The Republitards?

Your lack of balance is impressive, as always, Charlie. Obama bashed Americans and called them the 'enemy'. Yet you get butt hurt about Cain and West. Pathetic as ever. You irrational 'hate' blinds you to logic.

Translation:

I'm just going to try to troll Charlie with baiting him into a petty argument because I cannot deny that Cain and West are Islamophobes. I will just play stupid and tell Charlie that Cain and West are not Islamophobes and ignore their statements on Muslims because I am a right winger and we put right wing ideology over the truth to show our loyalty against the left.

Yea and Juan Williams is an Islamophobe as well. People that say what a lot of people are thinking, in other words- not politically correct, are radicals of the horrendous kind.

I guess 0bama should be considered an Americanophobe, the Republicans are evil and are his enemy. Yea, our Divider-in-Chief gets another pass - nothing new here - move along.

What, I'm agreeing with you. This one time donation has done more to stave human suffering than every liberrhoidal social program in world history. I'm trying to figure out how to commit my 401k into Coke stock in another window as we speak!

Hey, I own a corporation too you know, and we donated $50.00 to SARS research, and we support the troops in the form of claiming that we support the troops. Will you buy a few Guinea pigs for 400x what it costs us to produce one? Because if you don't, well, then I'd like to know why you love SARS and hate the troops.

So a dictator wants to show a corporation they are not exempt from a South American government take over?? This is a good thing?? Did you read the entire article??

Did Hugo Chavez ban Coke Zero, a product that is sold in Europe and all over the world because he was worried about his people or because he wanted to show them who's boss. I'm thinking it's the latter. :)

From your link Douger:

Venezuela's ban may be politically tinged. Chávez has assailed symbols of America and globalisation in his drive for a socialist revolution in South America's oil exporter.

In the past two years the government has nationalised and expropriated assets of foreign companies involved in sectors such as oil, food, cement and banking.

Chávez has not threatened to take over Coca-Cola, which in Venezuela is run by Mexico's Grupo Femsa, but he has criticised it over a labour and land dispute at its bottling plant in the capital Caracas.

By going after big name symbols the president was sending a message that no company was safe, said Jose Vicente Leon, director of the polling firm Datanalisis.

One of best bangs for your buck in advertising is making charitable donations. The resulting good press cannot be purchased any other way and certainly not as cheaply.

Yes, and a source for advertising in the future.

Most of these 'evil' corporations provide huge amounts of support for their local communities, most of which receives absolutely no publicity. They often have long term commitments to charities and NGOs around the world - none of which gets publicity. One off donations may receive press coverage but, given their advertising budgets, it's a drop in their ocean. However, please do carry on with the irrational 'hatred' of companies that employ millions of Americans.
The next time I "carry on with irrational hatred of companies" will be the first.

Broad brush, much?
