None of the rights enumerated in the Bill of Rights are subject to government permission. For instance, we do not have to have to pass a background check from the filthy government to practice religion or have free speech.

The only reason to have universal background checks is to come back and demand universal gun registration...that is the only reason...criminals are not getting guns from law abiding people at gun shows...they are using straw buyers at gun stores because then they don't have to worry about under cover police officers.
