It was the pressure of Hollyweird(Rock Hudson and Carry Grant) on people like Barney(the faggot) Franks, who pushed for homosexuality to be taken off the mental illness label. We all know that money speaks, and Hollyweird had the most so to speak...gayness ought not be elevated from a pathological condition to the status of natural human divergences such as hair or skin color. medical authorities abandoned the idea that homosexuality was a pathology in 1973. they shouldnt have. THEY SHOULDNT HAVE!

Back when homosexuality was illegal, or could get you fired from a job, then you could be blackmailed.
Today, not so much.
If your concern is national security and blackmail - your approach make no damned sense. Marginalizing and demeaning gays - regarding them as perverts- will only drive them back into the closet. Yet they will still attain positions of power and authority. They will still be privy to sensitive information-industrial and military. On the other hand- an out person can't very well be blackmailed, now can they? But, I suspect that is not really your concernsee post #5do you agree?!

Here is a useful tool for use. Pick any state and you can see what protections they offer and do not offer. Georgia for one does not protect gays from workplace discriminationNo Bro, many states do not include LGBT in their laws against discrimination
