Most of the people that make our movies wouldn't even consider making a movie about religion. The last smashing success was "The Passion of the Christ" which was a masterpiece but a horrid display of cruelty and was widely panned by the left.

Ironic that Lindsay Lohan and Jim Caveziel (the people you're referring to above) are both republicans. Well done. Not only are you weak, you don't know what you're taking about.

Focusing only on the cruelty of Jesus' life overlooks the gifts he had, the unbelievable love he showed, and the lesson of fellowship that he taught. His life was more than his sacrifice and God's grace. It was only part of the story. It would be like talking only about the night in Ford's theater in Abraham Lincolns life.
