No, this is just the FOX News effect. FOX News keeps publishing these "sky is falling" lies about the economy, and promoting the idea that Biden is senile, along with ramping up the anti-gay rhetoric and hate. The American people turned on the Demcrats after Obama was elected too.

But the midterms are NOT going to go like you think they are. Democrats are mobilizing voters to get out and ensure that Roe v Wade is codified in the House and Senate. Women are responding in droves.

Gas prices are dropping every day.

Joe Manchin has agreed to support the 2022 Deficit Reduction Act contains many of the things from the Build Back Better plan, that Manchin previously refused to vote for, including climate change initiatives.

Democrats saw what happened at the mid-terms, after Obama was elected. That's when Republicans started their assault on democracy, and free and fair elections. And the Senate stopped passing ANYTHING at all other than budgets and judging confirmations.

Voters have seen what has happened with Roe, the failure to ban semi-automatic weapons like the AR15, the SC wish list to overturn gay marriage, ban birth control and reinstate sodomy laws. Last week, 200 Republicans members of the House voted against legalizing birth control. The Senate voted down codifying Roe v Wade, and Schumer hasn't found enough Republican Senators who will voted for the gay marriage bill, to bring it to the floor.

These are not radical left wing bills. These are bills supported by more than 70% of all Americans, including a majority of Republican voters in the case of Roe, and gay marriage.
Do you seriously not believe that President Biden's mental acuity is failing?

I have no idea who you refer to as "cult news". I know that there was an opinion piece on the NYT website yesterday, written by Brett Stephens and entitled "Biden should announce he's not running". Stephens is the Times pet right wing commentator. He's very much fringe right wing. I saw the piece but it was behind a paywall, this late in the month. So I tried to call it up on my phone which I seldom use for linking online, so I link to it, and it was gone.

FOX jumped all over this and said the Times said he MUST announce, and a lot of other bullshit besides. This was not a Times Editorial Board endorsement, this was one editorial writer's opinion, and it pisses me off that FOX portrayed it as statement by the times, because that's not true.

When I tried to search for it just to copy the link, to show that the Times in fact, had not "demanded" that Biden announce, an opinion piece in the Times had suggested he announce, it was completely gone, and none of the reports about this opinion piece included a link to the actual NYT piece.

  • Called Covid a hoax. Failed to immediately act to test and trace Covid cases because it would hurt his TV ratings.
  • Allowed hundreds of thousands of Americans to die unnecessarily. Allowed Covid to run rampant.
  • Failed to repeal and replace Obamacare as promised, thus making Obamacare immortal.
  • Promised not to "go golf", then proceeded to spend one third of his presidency golfing.
  • Failed to build the wall as promised. Failed to make Mexico pay for it.
  • Added $8 trillion to the debt in half the time it took Obama.
  • Impeached twice.
  • Turned our country into a Third World nation with an attempted coup.
  • Left office with a higher unemployment rate than he came in with.
You seem to have a foggy memory. Having destroyed your first two statements, the rest are just as senseless.

China slams Trump's coronavirus travel limits: 'Not a gesture of goodwill'
By Joe McDonald, Sam McNeil | Associated Press
[...]
On Friday, the United States declared a public health emergency and President Donald Trump and an order barring entry to foreign nationals, other than immediate family of American citizens and permanent residents, who visited China within the last 14 days, which scientists say is the virus’s longest incubation period.

'Unfriendly comments'
China criticized the U.S. controls, which it said contradicted the WHO’s appeal to avoid travel bans, and “unfriendly comments” that Beijing was failing to cooperate.

“Just as the WHO recommended against travel restrictions, the U.S. rushed to go in the opposite way. Certainly not a gesture of goodwill,” said foreign ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying.

WHO Secretary-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said in Geneva that despite the emergency declaration, there is “no reason for measures that unnecessarily interfere with international travel and trade.”

Nolte: A Mere 8 Days Ago Joe Biden Was Still Attacking Trump’s Travel Bans
JOHN NOLTE 20 Mar 2020

A mere eight days ago, Joe Biden was still vocally opposing President Donald Trump’s travel bans from Europe, and even China, as racist. In other words, if Biden was the president, we can’t begin to imagine how much worse things would look in American today thanks to President Biden’s refusal to keep people out from the very same places where the Chinese coronavirus rages.

Nancy Pelosi visits San Francisco’s Chinatown to encourage people amid fears of coronavirus
by: Charles Clifford

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (KRON) – House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was in San Francisco on Monday spending several hours visiting Chinatown to encourage people to visit the shops and restaurants there amid fears of the coronavirus.

Business in Chinatown has really slowed down over the last month, mainly due to concerns about the coronavirus.

Pelosi did a walking tour of the area starting in the Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Shop.

She also visited several other businesses and talked to people.

Neighbors, including the owner of the cookie shop, who says the last month has been difficult.

“Business is slow. People don’t want to come, they are scared,” Kevin Chan said.

Pelosi also took this opportunity to encourage people to come back to Chinatown.

“You should come to Chinatown. Precautions have been taken by our city. We know there is concern about tourism throughout the world but we think it’s very safe to be in Chinatown and hopefully, others will come,” Pelosi said.

WATCH: NYC Mayor de Blasio Gets Nailed for Telling New Yorkers to Ignore the Wuhan Coronavirus
Beth Baumann
Posted: Mar 29, 2020 1:35 PM

On Sunday, CNN's Jake Tapper put New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio (D) on blast for telling New Yorkers not to worry about the Wuhan coronavirus. Tapper played four separate clips of de Blasio encouraging New Yorkers to go about their daily lives, even as recently as March 13th, less than two weeks ago.

"In retrospect, is that message, at least in part, to blame for how rapidly the virus has spread across the city?" Tapper asked.

De Blasio instantly deflected.

"You know, Jake, we should not be focusing, in my view, on anything looking back, on any level of government right now," the mayor explained. "This is just about how we save lives going forward. We are all working – everybody – is working with the information we had and trying, of course, to avoid panic.

WHO haunted by January tweet saying China found no human transmission of coronavirus

The World Health Organization (WHO) is now haunted by a tweet it sent earlier this year when it cited Chinese health officials who claimed there had been no human transmissions of the novel coronavirus within the country yet.

The Jan. 14 tweet came less than two months before WHO declared COVID-19 to be a global pandemic.

"Preliminary investigations conducted by the Chinese authorities have found no clear evidence of human-to-human transmission of the novel #coronavirus (2019-nCoV) identified in #Wuhan, #China," the organization had said.

It also relied on information from Chinese health authorities who have been accused of obscuring facts and figures during the course of the outbreak.

Nursing homes have ‘no right’ to reject coronavirus patients, Cuomo says
By Bernadette Hogan and Bruce Golding
April 23, 2020 | 5:04pm

New York’s nursing homes weren’t allowed to challenge a controversial order to admit patients with the coronavirus, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Thursday — even though it’s been blamed for spreading the deadly disease among residents

“They don’t have a right to object. That is the rule and that is the regulation and they have to comply with that,” Cuomo said during his daily briefing in Albany.

New York’s true nursing home death toll cloaked in secrecy
By BERNARD CONDON, MATT SEDENSKY and MEGHAN HOYER August 11, 2020

New York’s coronavirus death toll in nursing homes, already among the highest in the nation, could actually be a significant undercount. Unlike every other state with major outbreaks, New York only counts residents who died on nursing home property and not those who were transported to hospitals and died there.

That statistic could add thousands to the state’s official care home death toll of just over 6,600. But so far the administration of Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo has refused to divulge the number, leading to speculation the state is manipulating the figures to make it appear it is doing better than other states and to make a tragic situation less dire.

“That’s a problem, bro,” state Sen. Gustavo Rivera, a Democrat, told New York Health Commissioner Howard Zucker during a legislative hearing on nursing homes earlier this month. “It seems, sir, that in this case you are choosing to define it differently so that you can look better.”

Remember when Biden said travel bans were “xenophobic?” He just instituted a travel ban on India.

WASHINGTON, DC- Remember when President Trump implemented a travel ban last year and Biden accused him of “hysteria, xenophobia and fear-mongering?” Yeah, good times. Apparently Biden forgot…or he’s an abject hypocrite. Probably a little of both.

Didn't Biden say travel bans were "xenophobic?" So why did he just institute a travel ban on India?

Biden restricts travel from South Africa and seven other countries starting Monday
By Kaitlan Collins, CNN

(CNN)President Joe Biden announced Friday the US will restrict travel from South Africa and seven other countries starting Monday as a new coronavirus variant has emerged.

Do you seriously not believe that President Biden's mental acuity is failing?

your-desperation-is-S.jpg

You're the one desperately trying to proclaim that Biden in senile, despite all reasonable evidence to the contrary. You keep claiming that Donald Trump won the election, which is a provable lie, and one that Trump repeats endlessly.

Your desperation in claiming Trump won, everyone is lying except Trump, and Trump was a really great President, shows you complete desperation to magically make your fantasies a reality.

The crap you believe, all the while claiming that the transgendered are mentally ill, and should be disabused of their notions of sexually identity. So in that spirit, I'm telling you for your own good:

Trump lost, BIGLY. The billionaire owned right wing media is telling you what you want to hear, and trying to keep you from changing the channel. Trump was the WORST President in American history.

Trump's record, especially for one term is truly astounding. My research and study puts his first term in the top five of all time great presidential administrations. I'm pretty confident that by the time his second term is over, he will be recognized as the greatest president in history, even above the gods like George Washington. He will have righted two distinct Democrat trainwreck administrations. In a way, this four year hiatus has been good for Trump, because he's honing his plan of attack for his second term. This includes massive election reform and the purging of the leftwing deep state maggots.

On top of that, he not only cheered on the Fed to pump TRILLIONS of inflationary dollars into an economy that was not in recession, and even BEGGED THEM TO PUMP IN MORE AND TO DROP INTEREST RATES EVEN MORE, feeding inflationary pressures even more. Keynes himself was rolling over in his fucking grave.

Then, after sitting at only a 2.3% GDP, he called it "the Greatest Economy Ever". It was par for the orange course: A shameless, blatant lie to please the rubes.

Of course the rubes, ignorant about all of that, and economics/markets in general, just parrot what he tells them. The Dunning-Kruger Effect, in all its mindless glory.

President Trump had this country rolling as never before. People were brimming with optimism. And now your boy has pissed it all away in 19 short months. No wonder you're angry. We all are.

A 2.3% GDP after trillions of stimulus -- and he asked for MORE, while making Keynes roll over in his grave -- is not "rolling as never before".

Like the man you adore, you people communicate almost exclusively in cartoonish hyperbole.

You have been conned. By a con man.

No one, ot even Biden can measure up to Trump as a traitor and thief of our national top secrets. Secrets he has already shared with Russians in the Oval Office and has now STOLEN top secrets information he has no right to have, other then to sell off America to the highest bidder.

Boy, that escalated quickly. It's amazing how fast you the right wing media distorts everything.

You're quoting the FOX News report of the NYT OPINION PIECE, written by a far right columnist, who suggested that Biden should announce he's not running. The word "demand" only appears in the FOX News headline which lied about what it said.

FOX always starts with a germ of a fact, and then wraps it all up in lies and right wing hyperbole so that, in the end, the reporting bears no resemblance to the truth.
You’re being kind…..out right lies.

Rubbish. Trump is totally innocent. He was well in his authority, and as a White MAGA Man with privilege, to do what he did. The real traitor emboldened to espionage is the Usurper, namely Joe Biden and his puppeteers.

His ability to have access to top secret information at a golf course dumbo ENDS with his presidency. Go get a life outside of ass kissing.

Biden could not accomplish this much in 1 LIFETIME, let alone 1 TERM.

There is a great deal of talk on the media concerning the public's interest in this affidavit that reveals the nature of the documents Trump stole from our house, namely the White House. The documents Trump stole belong to the American people.

The public's interest is served by not revealing the critical factors contained in the affidavit.
In the Trump era, there are two facts every voter should know to enable intelligent decisions.

One, when the powers-that-be granted the President all his powers, they never once considered a President like Donald Trump.

Two, Donald Trump is just plain stupid.

Take, for example, his incredibly stupid decision to take hundreds of pages of classified documents with him to Mar-a-Lago. He has never explained why he did that. It is quite likely he doesn't know. Just something to do? In any case, that remarkably incomprehensible decision has caused him nothing but grief, and he might be indicted.

The Wall Street Journal explains his folly. "Boxes retrieved from former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home early this year contained more than 184 classified documents, including some deemed top secret or derived from clandestine human-intelligence sources, according to a heavily redacted affidavit released Friday laying out the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s justification for its extraordinary search of the Florida estate in early August.

"The document spanning 38 pages, 24 of them fully or partially blacked out, said there was “probable cause to believe that additional documents” containing classified national defense information and presidential records remained on the premises and “also probable cause to believe that evidence of obstruction” would be found there. A separate document said investigators relied on accounts from “a significant number of civilian witnesses” before searching the home.

"The affidavit was released on court order almost three weeks after FBI agents searched Mar-a-Lago and carted away more than two dozen boxes including 11 sets of classified documents, some of which were meant to be accessible only in special high-security facilities, according to a search warrant made public by the Florida court that approved it. The search followed months of correspondence by the National Archives and Records Administration to secure Trump administration records."

The Republican Party has captured the minds of those who live in the rural counties of America. The voters are mostly farmers, ranch hands, and rural shopkeepers. They lack education and they are not well informed. Most of what they know about politics is by word of mouth.

"The former president has seen his standing in the GOP strengthen since the Aug. 8 search as he considers a 2024 challenge to President Biden," the WSJ.

The Republican Party has captured the minds of those who live in the rural counties of America. The voters are mostly farmers, ranch hands, and rural shopkeepers. They lack education and they are not well informed. Most of what they know about politics is by word of mouth.
The Lincoln Project is a conservative group, which has long opposed Trump and his Republican allies. It issued a strongly worded statement late on Tuesday following the primary defeat of Wyoming Representative Liz Cheney.

Trump Republicans have largely abondoned conservative principles. The statement essentially said that the Republican Party is no longer a conservative party. It is something else entirely.

Tonight, the nation marks the end of the Republican Party. What remains shares the name and branding of the traditional GOP, but is in fact an authoritarian nationalist cult dedicated only to Donald Trump.

In 2016, Vladimir Putin helped Trump become our President.

"The [Republican] Senate Intelligence Committee reaffirmed its support for the U.S. intelligence community’s conclusion that the Russian government interfered in the 2016 presidential election with the goal of putting Donald Trump in the Oval Office." https://www.politico.com/news/2020/...rms-russia-aimed-to-help-trump-in-2016-198171

The cult members don't care. Most of the uninformed educationally challenged members don't know of Putin's role in 2016.

Putin is pleased with his choice because our nation is in turmoil as the former President is embroiled in a number of investigations. They would include White House documents, the Jan. 6 coup attempt to overthrow the elected government, civil and criminal business actions in New York, and Trump's tax returns.

The cult members don't care. Most of the uninformed educationally challenged members don't know of Trump's multiple criminal liabilities, and they don't know they are doing the bidding of the Russian dictator.

All the cult members have one thing in common. They don't know, and they don't want to know. They are not fans of reality, and, beyond the Farm Report, they rarely watch responsible news programming, believing it to be fake news because they report the difficulties faced by their cult leader, Donald Trump.

They believe. That's all they know, and that is all they want to know.

A number of reports involve Trump's many problems with the law. Trump Republicans are a no-show. They don't defend Trump. They don't support Trump.

Their support for their cult leader is based entirely on avoiding what Trump says and does.

The mystery is, why Trump? Why a man with inherited billions? Why an extreme narcissist who doesn't give a rat's ass about anyone except himself?
