Not a lot. You can examine both and see the obvious state of things today and it would be a logical assumption that both will join given the trend toward political acceptance of islamic law and the influence of catholocism with the EU and world domineering socialism.

When looking at scripture, you get most of the correlation pointed straight at catholocism except for a couple of key points.

1. There will be wars, and RUMORS of wars. (how the heck do you do that when everything is world wide instant coverage? -Terrorism)

2. The worldwide focus is on the mideast and a peace plan is central for it and Israel. The whole world will turn against Israel also. -Again, terrorism and islam are the logical assumption.

3. When the antichrist hunts down Christians, oddly enough, in an age of "humanity", technology, and such, BEHEADING is the immediate action taken to kill Christians. WHY? The logical connection to Islamic law cannot be denied.

When you put these things together, you can draw no other conclusion.

It is the grand finale folks, either a guy comes along with a peace pact in our lifetimes and lands it square on Israel for 7 years, (and breaks it in 3.5) or the Bible is wrong.

The only 3rd alternative is that God stretches time and freezes all technology advancement until the peace maker can come into play, because all of the technology necessary to do what has been predicted has now come to pass and Rome is revived.

Correct. Mughal does not equal Mongol. Mughal appeared appeared with the dissolution of the Timurid, preceded by the Delphi Sultinate. Islam was the state relgion, but Hinduism was widely tolerated, relatively speaking of course. The Mughal royal family were directly linked to the old Timurid dynasty.
